摘要
传统的标本共享系统大多采用以概念为中心的信息描述框架,无法揭示矿物基本概念或术语之间多层次的语义关系,难以解决一词多义、多词一义、词义含混等问题,使得信息检索效率低下、资源集成困难。领域本体作为特定领域内共享概念模型的明确的形式化规范说明,能够清晰地表达复杂的语义信息,有助于解决这些问题。现以"概念-关系"为中心,利用与平台无关的矿物领域本体对标本结晶学与矿物学的内容进行描述,结合关系型数据库,设计并实现了基于领域本体的标本网络共享系统,有效表达了矿物标本检索中的语义信息,提高了标本检索的效率,减少了误检、漏检现象。
The traditional specimen sharing system adopts the concept-centered information description mode.It can not reveal multi-level semantic relations among basic mineral concepts and terminologies.Therefore it is hard to handle problems raised by complex semantics,which makes ineffective information retrieval and difficulties in resource integration.In order to tackle these problems,this article uses domain ontology,which is independent of platforms,to describe common knowledge of mineral specimen.Based on domain ontology and relational databases,the article developed a Web-based system to implement sharing,browsing,searching and managing of mineral specimen.It is helpful to avoid inaccurate retrieval and incomplete retrieval that are caused by indefinite semantic or latent semantic,and realize sharing and exchanging of mineral specimens.
