The Pros and Cons of Centralized Operations and Countermeasures of Commercial Banks

根据国际经验,商业银行通过流程再造,实行各项业务的集中经营管理,是商业银行降低经营成本,提高工作效率、加强风险控制、实现专业化和集约化经营的必由之路。最近几年来,我国各主要商业银行通过股份制改革和组织经营管理体制的再造,逐步实现了各主要业务的集中经营和管理,取得了一定的成绩,但也出现了一些新问题,文章以商业银行国际业务集中经营为例,通过比较分析业务集中经营管理的利与弊,深入探讨提高商业银行集约化经营管理水平和经营效益的对策。

According to international practices,implementation of the centralized operations and management of businesses in commercial banks through process reengineering is the only solution to reduce operating costs,improve efficiency,strengthen risk control,as well as achieve professional and intensive management.In recent years,China＇s major commercial banks have made some achievements through shareholding system reforming and organization management reengineering,realizing centralized operations and management of main businesses gradually.However,there are still some new problems.Taking centralized operations of international business in commercial banks as an example,this paper makes an in-depth research on how to enhance commercial banks＇ intensive management by comparing the pros and cons of centralized operations,and finally proposes some countermeasures to improve operation efficiency.
