摘要
本文讨论阿特伍德的小说《羚羊与秧鸡》中的成长主题。小说以青年主人公成长过程的几个阶段为线索,勾勒出近未来几个完全不同的假想世界,从而展开对人士类处境的预警:人类社会被掌控技术力量的大公司区隔开来,个体整体性地陷入无限延期的青春期状态。伴随电子游戏成长起来的年轻一代日渐模糊了现实与游戏的界限,随意"越界"的科学家使人类陷入极大的伦理困境,甚至出现反人类的选择倾向。而如何面对自身的历史污点,则是人类面向未来世界的关键命题。
This article discusses the growing-up theme of Atwood’s novel Oryx and Crake. The novel described three growth stages of the hero as a clue, and outlined several completely different scenarios in the near future, leading to early warning of the human condition: When human society was separated by great companies dominated technique power, individuals fell into indefinite extension of adolescence. The younger generation growing up with video games increasingly blurred boundaries between reality and games, while some scientists crossing the boundary at random made mankind face a crucial ethical dilemma, even appear an anti-human tendency. Furthermore, how to deal with our own historical stains is the key to future world.
