Summary of Research of Patriarchal Clans of the Jin State

晋国世族研究对研究晋国史乃至整个东周史皆有重要意义。从20世纪30年代至今,有关晋国世族的大量专著、论文相继问世,为进一步研究打下了坚实的基础。今后,应对这项课题的一个重要方面——世族兴衰与晋国政局变迁的内在联系,进行深入探讨。

The research of the patriarchal clans of the Jin State is of great significance to the research of the history of the Jin State and the Eastern Zhou Dynasty. From 1930s to the present, a lot of treatises and theses on the patriarchal clans of the Jin State have been published, which established the solid foundation for the further research. From now on, we should make the thorough study on the intrinsic connection between rise and decline of the patriarchal clans and changes of the Jin State＇ political situation that is an important aspect of the research.
