In this article, the author analyzes and sums up the operation safeguard problems of the vacuum circuit breakers which have been broadly used since the reform of urban and rural electric wire netting. He also puts forward some improving suggestions. He raises some concrete problems in the operation safeguard of vacuum circuit breakers in rural electric wire net- ting, which should be paid attention to. Thus he provides useful reference for the rural electric net operators to safeguard the related equipment.
