科学发展观是坚持以人为本,全面、协调、可持续的发展观,它是推进我国经济社会全面发展的指导思想,也是加强和改进大学生素质教育的指导方针。科学技术与人文社会科学的日趋综合必然要求推进大学生素质教育,现代社会的人才观对于大学生培养的规格、质量提出了新的要求,势必要求在高校推进大学生素质教育。高校要在科学发展观指导下,积极探索和拓宽开展大学生素质教育的途径。
