On the knowledge service of library

图书馆服务在新形势下面临着竞争和挑战,能否在竞争中生存成为图书馆的重要任务,而知识服务是图书馆提高服务水平,争取社会读者和用户的必然选择。文章分析了图书馆服务面临的挑战及知识服务出现的必要性,阐述了图书馆知识服务的内涵、特点、方式、原则等基本内容,最后给出了自己的建议。

Under the new situation library services face with the competitions and challenges,whether a library can survive in the competition has become an important task.However,knowledge service is an inevitable choice for a library to improve service level,to seize more community readers and users.This paper analyzes the challenges which library are facing with and the necessity of appearance of knowledge service,it elaborates the basic content,such as connotation,characteristics,methods,principles of knowledge service of library,and so on.At last it puts forward some suggestions.
