Hui'an(a Buddhistic monk from a temple on Mt.Song in the Tang Dynasty),as one of the outstanding disciples of the fifth Buddhist ancestor,enjoyed brilliant morality and virtues and he also had a unique interpretation of Buddhistic doctrines,which made him a great Buddhist master later.He was born in Zhijiang,Hubei Province,and practically he is the greatest religious master and thinker in Yichang and even the Three Gorges area.This article makes a brief introduction to his morality and virtues,Buddhistic thinking,dialectical interpretation of Buddhistic doctrines and social influence for a detailed demonstration of this historical figure's Buddhistic wisdom and legendary life.
