方志与方志馆藏散论

Chorography and the Chorography Hall's Collection

方志既不同于年鉴,也不同于地方史记,而是一种特殊的地方文献资料。方志具有资治、教化和存史等三大功能,开发和利用地方志资源具有重要的现实和历史意义。但是就我国的大多数公共图书馆和高校图书馆而言,方志的馆藏一直是一个薄弱环节。为此本文从四个方面就方志和方志的馆藏问题展开了讨论,意在引起对方志馆藏和作用的重视。

Chorography is different from both the yearbook and the local records,but a special kind of local literature material.Local chorography has three functions,namely,for enlightenment,for education,and for record.The development and utilization of the Chinese local chorography resources has important realistic and historical significance.But for most of the public libraries and university libraries,limiting collection of local chorography has been a common prominent problem.This paper discusses the chorography and its collection from four aspects,so as to arouse the attention to chorography and its collection.
