汉文佛典保存了许多疑难俗字,包括历代大型字典收录的音、义不详或形音义可疑的汉文佛典俗字,历代大型字典收录的没有任何书证或例证而可用汉文佛典补证的俗字,历代大型字典未收录的正体不易知晓的汉文佛典俗字。研究这些俗字对于汉语俗文字研究、大型字典的完善、佛典的校勘整理都具有比较重要的意义。

There exist many debatable and difficult Chinese folk words in Chinese sutras.The study of these words is of great importance to the research of Chinese folk words ,completion of large dictionary and emendation and sorting of Chinese sutras.
