日本跨国公司海外优势寻求投资研究及对中国启示

A Study on the Asset-exploring FDI of Japan's MNCs

跨国公司的海外直接投资在当今世界经济中占据一席之地,目前,跨国公司海外投资动机可以分为"优势寻求"以及"优势利用"两大类。诸多学者通过研究发现,海外"优势寻求"投资对新兴工业化国家以及发展中国家跨国公司的发展具有重要意义。本文选取日本跨国公司的海外"优势寻求"投资为研究对象,将日本近年海外优势寻求投资进行纵向、横向及综合对比,在探索日本优势寻求投资状况时,对中国起到一定的借鉴作用。

MNCs＇ FDI plays an important part in the world＇s economy nowadays. The motivations of MNCs＇ FDI can be divided into two kinds： asset-exploring and asset-exploitation. From the study of many scholars, we can see that asset-ex- ploring FDI is meaningful to the development of the MNCs of NIEs and developing countries . This paper studies the asset- exploring FDI of Japan＇s MNCs. It takes three steps to complete the study. First, I compare the asset-exploring FDI of Japan＇s MNCs in the year 2010 in the whole world and in some representative countries. Second, I compare the asset-ex- ploring FDI of Japan＇s MNCs in the year 2010 in China with the past years＇. Third, I do some comprehensive compare. Through all these compares, this paper illustrates the status quo and the trend of the asset-exploring FDI of Japan＇s MNCs, and thus gives some enlightenment to China.
