With the word 'liberty' to name itself, liberalism naturally has liberty as its core value. But why do human beings need liberty? Why is liberty so sacred? To these questions, different ideologists give different answers. Some hold that it originates from the selfishness of human nature;and some others hold it is the innate right of human beings. However,Hayek holds that liberty builds on the knowledge scatter and non-rational for rationality is not omnipotent and in real society there doesn't exist an omniscient and omnipotent person who can arrange the fate and life of others so that each one must be endowed with liberty.
