市场准入、对外开放与工资空间差异——基于入世后中国省级面板数据的实证分析

Market Access,Openness and Spatial Wage Inequality——Based on an Empirical Analysis of the Panel Data of Chinese Provinces After China's Accession to the WTO

基于新经济地理学与开放经济的视角建立实证模型,利用2001—2008年中国30个省级面板数据,实证分析了市场准入、进出口依存度、外资依存度对中国工资空间差异的影响。研究结果表明:市场准入对东部、中部、西部的工资水平均具有显著为正的影响,是造成中国工资空间差异的重要因素;进口依存度、外资依存度在一定程度上扩大了工资的空间差异,出口依存度对区域间的工资差异则具有一定的缓解作用,而其他变量对工资水平的影响则因地区而异。

Based on the visual angle of new economic geography and open economy,this paper firstly establishes the empirical model and then explores the impact of market access on China spatial wage inequality,and degree of import and export trade dependency and degree of foreign capital dependency on China spatial wage inequality by using the 2001—2008 panel data of China＇s 30 provinces.The findings show that market access has a significant positive influence on the wage level of the eastern,central and western regions,and it is one of the main factors of the disparity of spatial wage in China.To a certain extent,the degree of import trade dependency and the degree of foreign capital dependency is increasing the spatial wage inequality,but the degree of export trade dependency alleviates the inequality of regional wages.The impact of other variables on the wage level may vary with regions.
