拓垦与族群属性:台湾客家史新证

Development and ethnicity in the history of Taiwan Hakkas

在台湾,汀州客家人是一个易被忽略的族群,而漳州籍移民多被等同于福佬人,潮州籍移民则往往被等同于粤东客家人。通过史料钩沉与考辩,论证了汀州客家人对台湾开发的贡献,辩证了台湾漳州籍移民中有较高比率的客家人,认为不能将台湾潮州籍移民简单地等同于粤东客家人,从而澄清了台湾客家史研究中的若干错误认识。

In Taiwan,Tingzhou Hakkas as an ethnic group is likely to be ignored,Zhangzhou-born immigrants are often taken as Fulao people,i.e.Han nationalities emigrating from Fujian Province,while Chaozhou-born immigrants are usually considered as belonging to the Hakkas from eastern Guangdong Province.With careful historical survey,this article has confirmed the contribution by Tingzhou Hakkas to the development in Taiwan.It proves that among Zhangzhou-born immigrants in Taiwan,there＇s a high percentage of Hakkas,and Chaozhou-born immigrants in Taiwan should not be identified with the Hakkas from eastern Guangdong Province and many of them are in fact Fulao people.
