Western scholars' study of ancient Greek sports

摘要 西方学者关于古希腊体育运动的研究在不同的时期体现了不同的特点,早期的研究多集中于对希腊体育运动发展历程的梳理和宏观的勾勒,20世纪中后期以来其研究不断趋于细化,并尝试用新的理论和方法进行重构,研究视角和方法不断创新,取得丰硕的成果。受史料、价值观念及方法等方面的限制,他们的研究仍有不足之处,但瑕不掩瑜,其研究已达到很高的水平,不仅为西方竞技史的研究做出了贡献,而且在考古发现、文献收集以及理论方法等方面为我国竞技史的研究提供了一些有益的借鉴。 Western scholars' studies of ancient Greek sports reflect different characteristics at different times.Studies at earlier stage focused on the origin and development of Greek sports.Since the mid-twentieth century studies have become more detailed.New theories and methods have been adopted into the researches.Achievements have been made,which contribute to the researches into the history of the western sports.They are hoped to be helpful to the archeological findings,literature collection and theoretical methodology of studying the history of the Chinese sports.
