Developing the Long March Spirit Strengthening College Students' Ideological and Elief Education

理想信念教育是新形势下加强和改进大学生思想政治教育的核心。当代大学生在理想信念上存在着政治信仰迷茫、理想信念迷糊,价值取向重功利、讲实际等问题。高校在加强大学生的理想信念教育过程中,应充分依托和利用长征精神的宝贵思想资源,发挥思想政治理论课的主渠道作用,把长征精神的理论成果贯穿教学过程中;以社会实践活动为载体,升华大学生对革命理想信念的认识;努力提高老师的思想理论素质,发挥老师的更大作用。

The education of ideological and belief serves as a crucial part in the education of college students＇ ideological and political education in the new situation. College students nowadays are confronting several ideological problems such as lack of political belief, and vagueness of ideal and faith. Also, college students have value orientation towards utilitarianism and pragmatism. It is suggested in the paper that the Long March spirit should be highly valued and be applied to the teaching process of the students＇ideological and belief education. With political theory course as a platform, social practices as vehicle, teachers＇quality in ideological theory education would be highly improved, which in turn helps to promote students＇understanding of ideal and faith.
