硬件方法提升PC机存储性能

摘要 为了提升PC机存储性能,用硬件方法在PC机存储系统的硬盘存储层次加速存取.经过分析,硬盘的性能瓶颈在于随机访问时间,即寻道时间与旋转延迟时间之和.用闪存作为存储介质缩短了寻道时间,合理避免了旋转延迟时间,以JMF612为主控芯片的闪存固态盘替代硬盘在存储层次中系统盘的功能.测试试验结果表明:JMF612为主控芯片的固态盘能够提高硬盘层次的存储性能,从而提高PC机的存储性能. In order to improve PC storage performance,access to storage system in hard disks is speeded up by adopting hardware methods.The research shows that the bottleneck of hardware performance lies in random access time,that is, seeking time and rotational latency time added.Flash,which serves as storage medium,contributes to the reduction of seeking time and avoidance of rotational latency time.Furthermore,SSD whose main control chips are JMF 612 functions as a hard disk in serving the purpose of system disk in storage.The test results indicate that SSD with JMF 612 as its main control chips is able to improve the storing performance of hard disk,thereby improving PC in terms of storing performance.
