On Application of Information-Gap Theory to Post-graduate English Reading Teaching

信息差原理作为交际教学法的一个重要理论依据兴起于20世纪70年代,80年代后期引入我国,随后国内许多外语教师一直在探索如何合理地运用这一原理并取得了许多可喜的成果。信息差原理能够激发学习动机,促进语言习得,培养交际能力,将其应用于研究生英语阅读教学是为增强学生兴趣、改进教学效果所做的有益探索。

Problems exist in post-graduate English reading teaching,such as student antagonistic psychology and low study efficiency.In view of these problems it is put forward that the theory of Information Gap should be applied to remove the antagonistic psychology,strengthen student interest and improve teaching effect.
