在20世纪上半叶,由于受到帝国主义的盘剥和封建主义的压迫,人民的购买能力十分低下,尤其是日本侵华战争的严重破环和国民党统治时期的摧残,使我国食品工业的发展遇到很大困难。全国解放前夕,物资匮乏,物价飞涨,广大农民“糠菜半年粮”。
During the past 50 years, China's food industry has experienced tremendous changes. Its development can be divided into four stages - the recovery, a period of fluctuation, a period of new development, and finally one of continuous development.
