Mechanized rice film-covered cultivation technique is a major technology promotion program in China and it is an important part of green and organic rice production.This paper analyzes the current development in rice film-covered cultivation as well as the coating materials used in this process,and the types and characteristics of the coating machines.Besides,the author examines the development trend of mechanized rice film-covered cultivation technique.
