摘要
《迷宫案》是荷兰汉学家高罗佩用英语创作的二十四种狄公案系列小说中的第二种,也是由他亲自翻译为中文的唯一一种。高罗佩西传与回溯狄公故事的实践使中国公案小说在改良中得以重生,同时也向西方世界打开了一扇展示中国刑律制度和广博文化的窗口。上世纪八十年代初,中国外交官陈来元也将《迷宫案》译介给中国读者,完成了该小说的二重回溯。漫长的跨文化传播历程使《迷宫案》小说及狄公形象得到多重阐释和想象,使之成为跨文化语境下中国公案小说西传与回溯的成功案例。
The Chinese Maze Murder,the 2nd novel in the 24 novel Judge Dee series by the Dutch sinologist R.H.Van Gulik,was the only novel Gulik translated into Chinese.Gulik's creative writing gave a rebirth to the Chinese Court-case Novels,while simultaneously opening a window for Western countries into the eloquence of the ancient Chinese legal system and culture.In the early 1980s,Chinese diplomat Chen laiyuan translated the novel into Chinese too.So the novel had its second return.The long history of cross-culture transmission gave the novel and Judge Dee multi imagination and interpretation,made the novel a sucessful case for the cultural vitality of the reciprocity between the East and the West.
