摘要
目的观察口腔固定正畸治疗中患者使用电动牙刷2年控制菌斑和预防龋病的效果。方法选择年龄在12～14岁的戴用固定矫治器的正畸患者60例,实验组使用电动牙刷,对照组使用保健牙刷。采用菌斑染色法记录实验前和经过2年实验后,两组患者菌斑牙面数、菌斑指数和患龋情况,并进行统计分析。结果实验组菌斑清除率为67.11%,对照组为41.58%,菌斑指数和新患龋在两组间差异有统计学意义(P<0.01)。结论使用电动牙刷比普通牙刷更能帮助固定正畸患者有效消除牙面菌斑,预防龋齿,在固定正畸中预防龋病值得推广应用。
Objective To evaluate the efficacy of using electric toothbrush to control dental plaque and prevent dental caries in orthodontic patients with fixed appliances in two years.Methods 60 children aged 12-year to 14-year old were selected and divided into 2 groups according to the use of electric tooth brush and traditional manual toothbrush（control group）,The numbers of dental plaque surface,caries and PLI before and after the period of experiment were recorded.The date of the two groups were analyzed by student＇s t test andχ2 test.Results The ratio of dental plaque removal was 67.11% by using electric toothbrush and 41.58% in the control group,The PLI and the ratio of newly emerging dental caries were significantly different between the 2 groups （P0.01）.Conclusion Electric toothbrush can help patients more better remove dental plaque and prevent dental caries than traditional manual toothbrush.
