中国合众蚕桑改良会在江浙地区的蚕业改良(1918-1936)

The International Committee for the Improvement of Sericulture in China improved sericulture in Jiangsu and Zhejiang Provinces(1918-1936)

中国合众蚕桑改良会是民国时期改良中国蚕业的一个重要机构。抗战爆发之前,它在江浙地区开展了一系列蚕业改良活动,兴办制种场,发展改良种业,创设蚕业指导所,设立蚕业学校,整顿私人制种场,取得了一定的成效。然而,因自身的一些局限性,一定程度上影响了改良会作用的发挥,并未能完全实现振兴江浙蚕业的初衷。

The International Committee for the Improvement of Sericulture in China is an important institution for improving sericulture in China during the period of the Republic of China.It had improved sericulture in Jiangsu and Zhejiang Provinces before the Anti-Japanese War.It had set silkworm egg stations,developped improved silkworm egg industry,created sericulture guidance institutions,established sericultural schools,and rectified private silkworm egg stations,which had achieved some results.But because of its own some limitations,it had not realized its original intention for improving sericulture in Jiangsu and Zhejiang Province.
