缩小区域差距、促进区域经济协调发展是我国长期以来经济社会发展战略的重点之一。西部大开发以来,我国的区域政策推动了中西部地区经济社会的飞速发展,初步改变了区域差距扩大趋势。在"十二五"期间,缩小区域差距需要区域政策的支持,要制定更加具有差异化、工具和手段更加多样的、更加具有协调性和融合性的、更加深化和具体的区域政策,作为缩小区域差距的主要途径。

Narrow the interregional gaps, promote economic and social development in coordination always is one of significant tasks of Chinese government. Since the Wesntern Development, Chinese Regional policies have promoted the rapid development of economy and society of the central and western, and reverse the original trend of widening interregional gaps in the initial. In the ＂124 five-year-plan＂ period,the main way of narrowing the interregional gaps requires regional policies support, and to make them more detail,deep and diversified, more harmonious, and more measures.
