摘要
运用语料库的定量研究方法来对比分析不同层次中国英语学习者语块发展的趋势以及特点。研究结果发现,随着水平的提高,学习者语块的重复使用减少,丰富度提高。但是与本族语者相比,在语块的储备和丰富度上有很大的差异。按照语块的结构进行分类后,学习者在从句类和惯用法语块的使用上呈上升趋势。在介词类语块的使用上,学习者之间差异较小,但与本族语相比,使用的比率明显偏低。
This paper adopts the corpus-based quantitative method to investigate the tendency and characteristics of the acquisition of English chunks by Chinese English learners at different proficiency levels.The results show that:(1) Students of higher proficiency level avoid repetition of chunks and master more English chunks.However,there is significant difference between native speakers and Chinese English learners at different proficiency levels in the storage and use of chunks.(2) Categorizing the chunks according to the structure,we find that EFL learners tend to use more clausal and idiomatic chunks.(3) As to the usage of prepositional chunks,EFL learners at different proficiency levels share some similarities.However,compared with native speakers,EFL learners underuse prepositional chunks.
