On The Interpretation of English Existential Sentence

英语存现句尽管在语篇中所占比例不大,但对各种各样的文本却有着重要而特殊的贡献。不仅仅在英语里,存现句几乎是世界上所有语言共有的一种普遍语法现象。本文从英语存现句的结构入手,先对存现句的结构进行分类整理,再从认知语言学的角度,把英语非存现句与存现句在语义及构建的表现方式上进行对比研究,得出两者在较深层次上的差异。

English existential sentences don＇t occupy a great part in a text,but it＇s very import to all kinds of texts.Not only in English,existential sentence is a common grammar phenomena.Based on the structure of the existential sentence,this essay classifies the structures in the first step,and then put it in the view of cognitive linguistics,comparing the existential and non-existential sentences in the semantic and construal way,and get the differences in a deeper degree.
