清代著名学者马瑞辰的《毛诗传笺通释》是成就卓异的训诂力作,也是后世训诂学研究的重要对象。以往研究者多注重《毛诗传笺通释》因声求义的训诂特色,而其在修辞学方面的贡献,却未得到应有的关注。事实上,马氏在训诂解经过程中,发现了很多修辞现象,归纳出若干修辞条例,并由修辞以通训诂,从而纠正了前人的诸多错误,对后世修辞学的创立亦有导夫先路的重要作用。

＂Explanation of Mao＇s Commentaries on the Book of Songs＂ written by Ma Ruichen,a famous scholar in Qing Dynasty,is a masterpiece of exegetics,so it is a very important book studied by later researchers of exegetics.When commentating and explaining the words in ancient books,Ma found many rhetoric phenomena and induced some rhetoric rules so that he corrected many mistakes made by predecessors,which played an important role in establishing rhetoric.
