摘要
《白噪音》是一部后现代主义经典之作,充分展示当代美国人生存环境及精神焦虑的上乘作品。本文从人物叙述话语入手,探讨和论证《白噪音》中存在的独特叙事策略,发掘出作品中所蕴涵的对死亡的恐惧以及人物对死亡恐惧所表现出的种种滑稽可笑的行为,从而引起人们对生态环境和生存状况的关注。
＂White Noise＂,one postmodernism masterpiece,probes deeply into the contemporary American people＇s anxieties and environmental worries.In the thesis,the unique narrative technique especially narrative discourse is highlighted.On the basis of this uniqueness,the thesis attempts to explore the characters＇fear of death and their comical performances against the fear,thus the ecological and human survival conditions can get more attention.
