试析机器翻译论文的不可行性

The impossibility of translating thesis from Chinese into English by machine

通过对比论文标题和摘要的汉译,分析了机器翻译与人工翻译的优劣,同时还分析了机器翻译不尽人意的原因。进一步证明,由于机器翻译软件的不完善,试图用机器将汉语论文翻译成英语论文的做法是令人失望甚至是不可行的,因此,我们要慎用机器翻译。

This paper,based on the comparative study between the translations of the title and abstract by people and by machine,analyzes the shortcomings of machine translation and further proves that it is unsatisfactory and even impossible to translate an essay faithfully from Chinese to English by machine.Furthermore,people should be very careful when they are using machine translation.
