Abstracts database has been recognized as the preferred tool of information search,but researchers choose Google scholar than abstracts database.By comparing Google scholar with abstracts database from information sources and search function,the authors think that the abstracts database is still the preferred tool of information search.Abstract database will be used by more researchers by strengthening publicity,improving the link of library holding and full text and integrating the electronic resources,etc.
