This article introduced an example of directional blasting demolishment of a raw material silo in a cement plant. In view of the complex environment condition of the raw material silo and the precision requirement for directional collapse of the raw material silo, the demolishment scheme, blasting parameters,security measures and blasting effect were given, which provided a reference for the similar demolishment projects.
