This paper summarized the physiological functions of MMPs and the effects of exercise on the MMPs of differents organization in body;discusses and analyzes the change of MMPs on skeletal muscle,cardiac and vascular endothelial,bone and joint organizations and endometrial organizations with the exercise;develop the depth knowledge and research of MMPs in the sports and medicine.
