With the technique improvement on purification process and equipment,the purity of dimethyl sulfide was significantly inereased,the consumption of sodium hydroxide was reduced at the rate of 100 t/a,the generated sewerage was greatly reduced,the investment of environmental protections was saved more than RMB 200 000 a year and the economic benefit was increased at the rate of RMB 350 000 a year.
