试析本科翻译课程动态素材的设置和应用

A Study on the Application of Dynamic Material in Translation Course

翻译课程是英语专业高年级的一门重要课程。翻译教学素材的选用,直接关系到学生对翻译的兴趣和翻译能力的培养。传统的翻译教学素材以基本素材为主,亦即现有教材的素材,其最大的弊端是内容陈旧,学生兴趣缺失。文章探索翻译教学中的动态素材的设置和应用,以期设置者和应用者能有更扎实的翻译理论实践基础和更宽广开放的即时信息吸取能力,也希望这个相对涉足较少的领域能引起同行专家更多的关注和研究。

As one of the most important courses for English majors,translation is a comprehensive ability of one＇s language proficiency and knowledge.Different from present translation material based on textbooks,which lead to the deficiency of students＇ interest,this paper attempts to discuss the necessity and urgency of the setting and application of dynamic material,which is also mentioned by other experts as new teaching material,in translation course.The dynamic material includes the translation of current news,public signs,as well as newly-produced films.It is hoped that this relatively new field can provoke more concern by other experts.
