倍增关系“N+times+比较级”汉译探究

An Analysis of the Chinese Translation of "N + times + more than" Structure

倍数关系理解的准确与否在科技领域的重要性毋庸置疑。目前,国内众多的英语学习者对倍数关系的理解仍旧存在不统一的现状。甚至在一些工具书(语法书和词典)中也存在着对"N+times+比较级"倍数关系理解不一致的问题。鉴于此,笔者进一步探讨了倍数关系的理解与翻译问题,以期有助于解决倍数关系翻译的不一致问题。

It is important to have an accurate translation of ＂n＋times＋more than＂ structure,especially in scientific fields.However this numerical concepts is rendered in quite incongruent ways in today＇s scientific literature.Even in some grammatical books and dictionaries,the translations are disparate and diverse.It is necessary to make it clear that the translation of the structure should be correct and accurate.The attempted translation of ＂n＋times＋more than＂ is thus to be discussed at full length in this paper.
