探讨了在多媒体技术条件下如何提高大学英语教学有效性问题。基于信息技术的语言教学模式中技术不应当仅仅是传递知识的工具,而是一种参与认知过程的工具。教师应提高应用信息技术水平,充分利用基于计算机的多媒体技术来帮助学习者建构知识,从而到达有效教学的目的。

This paper probes into how to enhance the effectiveness of college English teaching in the context of multimedia technology.In the language teaching modes based on information technology,multimedia should not be only an instrument of transmitting knowledge,but a means in participating cognitive process.To achieve the goal of effective teaching,teachers must improve their standards of applying information technology by making full use of it in helping learners construct knowledge.
