摘要
设计了一种基于FPGA的VGA接口视频显示系统。系统可以分为视频解码芯片的配置模块、FPGA采集模块、片外SRAM存储模块、VGA控制器模块和D/A模块。实现过程中,通过FPGA对SAA7111配置进行初始化,得到经过A/D转换的RGB格式视频信号,利用采集控制模块将这些视频信号保存到SRAM。VGA控制模块读出SRAM中的视频信号,进行RGB16bit到24bit的格式转换以及帧频分辨力变换等操作,再利用D/A芯片THS8134就可以将采集到的视频信号送到CRT显示器上显示。
A video display system of VGA interface is designed based on FPGA. The system can be divided into the configuration module of video decoder chip, FPGA acquisition module, SRAM memory module, VGA controller module and D/A module, etc. After the configuration of SAA7111 with FPGA, the acquisition and control module can acquire RGB format video signals of A/D conversion and save these video signals to the SRAM memory. The VGA control module can read out video signals from SRAM memory and implement the RGB 16 bit to 24 bit format conversion, frame rate and resolution conversion etc. The D/A chip THS8134 is used to collect the video signal to the CRT monitor and display.
