摘要
电视字幕检测在电视节目监播、搜索和查询中起着重要的作用,其应用越来越广泛。目前,可用于电视字幕检测的算子很多,比较典型的有Sobel和Canny算子。通过对Sobel和Canny算子的算法分析以及Matlab仿真实验的对比,可以得出:Sobel算子算法简单,速度较快,但检测精度不高,适合字幕段的快速搜索和检测;Canny算子算法复杂,但检测精度较高,适合电视字幕的精确检测和搜索。
The edge detection of TV caption has important effect in broadcasting monitoring and search of TV program, and its application will become more and more widespread. So far, many operators can be used in the edge detection of TV caption. Sobel and Canny are the representatives of these operators. By the algorithm analysis of Sobel and Canny operator and the Matlab experience comparison, it can be manifested that Sobel operator is suited for the fast search and detection of TV caption because of its simplicity and high speed. Canny operator is suitable for the accurate search and detection of TV caption because of its excellent performance in edge detection.
