To Probe into the Timbre of Sheng

笙作为中华古老的簧管乐器,自古以来,人们对其研究就从未停止过。特别是对笙的历史演变、内部结构以及演奏技巧等都曾有过大量的叙述。文章从笙的簧和管的材料选择、形状(结构)以及制作技术的关键点这三方面进行考证与研究,以探究笙的音色差异以及如何把握好笙的最佳音色。

Sheng,is one of ancient reed pipe instruments in China.Researches about it never stopped,most of all,about its history,inner structures and performing skills have been represented in various articles.This article addressed important topics including the materials of reed and pipe of sheng,the structure of sheng and manufacture techniques of making it,in hopes to make an analysis on the differences of the timbre of Sheng and how to grasp the best timbre in performance.
