An Analysis of the Foreign Language Use and its Related Policy in China's International Metropolises

文章分析了我国国际大都市外语学习和使用的状况,对国际语言环境概念、英语学习和使用的重要性及策略、汉语和英语的关系、助推还是降温幼儿学英语热四个问题进行了讨论,从实践、学术、政策三个层面对我国国际大都市外语学习和使用提出了建议。

Through an analysis of the learning and use of foreign languages in China＇s international metropolises,this paper discusses four problems： the concept of international language environment,the importance and tactics of English learning and use,the relations between Chinese and English,and the attitude to children＇sEnglish-learning fever.It finally brings up some suggestions for the foreignlanguage learning and use in China＇s international metropolises at the practical,academic and policy levels.
