In the new democratic period with Mao Zedong at the core of the first generation of central leadership, in the process of ＂development of production, booming of economy, earing both for the state and the private, and benefitting both the labor and the capital＂, the state has always persisted fundamental national interests in the first place, yet at the same time, it has protected the legitimate rights and interests of the capitalists, as well as those of the laborers, thus constructing harmonious labor-capital relations. The labor-capital relations theory enriches and develops Marxism labor-capital relations theory, serving as a guide for China＇s socialism economic construction.
