The essence of building is space,when the architectural space is not defined as traditional surroundeding by entity,light give it new life energy and construct kinds of architectural space atmosphere.This paper describes how light create architectural space and analyses the artistic conception of architecture constructed by light and shadow change about the blend between space exploration and self –feeling,the emotion of architectural space represent because of the existence of light and shadow.
