Function of the T_(32) Terminator in Gene Expression in Corynebacteria

Two Chrynebacteria-E. Coli shuttle plasmids have been constructed, which both carry gene xylE encoding enzyme CatO2. Plasmid pJL32 also carrys a T32 terminator behind xylE while plasmid PJL13 does not.Comparing the CatO2 expressing activity of the two plasmids, we have discovered that the T32 terminator can effectively enhance the expression of foreign genes in Corynebacteria.
