改革开放２０年来，广东高教在指导思想，规模效益，教育体制，教学科研，师资建设，国际交流等方面都发生了巨大变化，展望２１世纪，高教应当统一认识；切实保 经费投入；深化体制改革，稳频扩大规模；努力提高质量，深化高校科技体制改革，强化师资建设；加强教充地，扩大国际合作交流。

Great changes haven take place in Guangdong higher education in the past two decades, especially changes in the guiding principle, scale and benefits, educational system, teaching methods, academic research, teachers' team and international exchange are obvious. Look into 21st century, Guangdong higher education still needs much more to do in these fields.
