With Guangdong University of Technology as an example, the present paper introduces the status quo of using electronic resources, and analyzes the cost in downloading and accessing the full text of electronic resources. It puts forward such countermeasures as using funds rationally, promoting quality of service and integrating electronic resources, which will contribute to improving the utility of electronic resources.
