We study the quantum diffusion in generalized Harper model.Attention is paid to the analysis of long time behavior of the autocorrelation function C(t) .It is found that the metal insulator transition in this model is accompanied by a transition of the autocorrelation function from C(t)～t -1 to C(t)～t 0 .
