The Relationship between Financial Development and Economic Growth——An Empirical Study on Fujian Province

金融无疑是现代经济社会的命脉。金融发展与经济增长之间的关系更是倍受经济学研究者的重视。现存的大量研究文献表明,金融发展是促进经济增长的重要因素之一。通过选取1991—2007年的年度数据,对福建省金融发展与经济增长进行协整分析。

It is no doubt that finance is lifeblood of modern economy and society. Economists have paid much attention to the relationship between financial development and economic growth. Extensive literature studies show that financial development is an important factor in the promotion of economic growth. According to the annual economic data of 1991- 2007 of Fujian province, the paper uses co-integration theory to make empirical study on the relationship between financial development and economic growth.
