摘要
陈若曦的小说创作与她的人生经历几近同一,大致分四个阶段:上世纪60年代初,陈若曦参加台湾现代主义文学运动,写出了她早期的现代派小说;70年代中期离开大陆之后,陈若曦笔录"伤痕",书写乌托邦理想的幻灭,这些作品奠定了她作为小说家的地位;80年代旅居加拿大与美国期间,陈若曦关注身处异国他乡的女性所面临的婚姻困境;90年代重返台湾之后,陈若曦仍致力于描写女性的生存状况以及她们如何寻找精神归宿的历程。"女性"与"政治"是陈若曦小说最关注的主题,而她的每一次选择既是对既定生活方式的突围,又是对传统文化理想的认同和回归。
Chen Ruo-xi's writing was almost the same with her experience,and there were four stages: First,she wrote the modernist fictions in 1960's when Chen Ruo-xi participated in Taiwan's modernist movement in her early life;Second,after Chen Ruo-xi left the mainland in 1970's,she was committed to writing the Scar fictions describing the disillusionment of Utopia,which laid the foundation of her being a novelist;Third,when Chen Ruo-xi was living in Canada and the United States in 1980's,she wrote the Immigration fictions which was concerned about the problems of the Women's issues;Fourth,in the time of returning to Taiwan in 1990's,Chen Ruo-xi wrote the fictions for the purpose of thinking about the existing status of the female and how they find spiritual home.Female and Political were the important themes that Chen Ruo-xi cared about,and her every choice was not only breaking out the established way of life,but also identifying with the ideal of the traditional culture.
