Virescence and Green Landscape of Guangzhou in the Qing Dynasty

随着城市的飞跃发展,清代广州的绿化活动也迅速发展起来,居宅、公共园林、寺庙、书院、衙署乃至山丘河湖隙地纷纷植树、栽花、种草,广州城市呈现出一片片绿色的景观。

Along with the rapid development of the city, the virescence of Guangzhou began to boost in the Qing dynasty. Residence, public gardens, temples, academies of classical learning, YASHU （government offices）, even the hills, rivers, lakes etc, started to be covered with trees, grown flowers and grass. Green landscape emerged in the city of Guangzhou.
