In the turbulent France of the sixteenth century,Montaigne who was in the battle of new and old religions observed that period of society with his insight beyond all.In Les Essais,he analyzed the surroundings with calm mind,unique insight,profound thought,and precise explanation,which revealed his humanistic feelings and also his superb interpersonal philosophy.
